Protector/Seal Section Definition

Glossary : Protector/Seal Section:

It is the component(s) in an ESP string that offsets the axial load between the pump and motor.  It also isolates and allows for expansion of the oil in the ESP motor.  It is typically located between the pump and motor in the ESP string.
